Site Safety Officers (2) needed for safety oversight of construction and demolition projects in Syracuse and Watertown, NY. Provide safety oversight of construction and demolition project activities to ensure worker safety and maintain compliance with all federal and local laws. Ensure that the project safety plan is being followed by all contractors, subcontractors and vendors on the site. Perform safety audits and inspects job site to detect and correct hazards; conducts accident investigations if required. Follow up daily activities with reports and photographs. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
