OSHA 29 CFR 1910.38 OSHA requires employers to prepare an emergency response plan that will ensure the health and safety of all employees in the event of fire, medical emergency, or similar incident that could affect the health or safety of employees. Each employee must be educated annually in the company's emergency response procedures and fire response plan. *************************************
OSHA 29 CFR 1910.1200 / OSHA 29 CFR 1926.59 OSHA requires training in this standard for all employees who may be exposed to hazardous chemicals under normal operating conditions or in foreseeable emergencies. Office workers and other employees who may encounter hazardous chemicals in non-routine circumstances are exempt from this standard, however training in the standard is recommended to raise the awareness level for all employees. ***********************************
